*Your own private 3 Bedroom Cottage - 2 Queen bedrooms + 4 children's bunks + 2 cots! (extra roll out bed available) Gorgeous Log fire + Reverse cycle air - heating for winter, come and toast marshmallows! Cool air-conditioning for summer, Children's splash pool provided for Summer months. We strongly recommend a minimum stay of 3 NIGHTS to allow enough time to enjoy all activities on and near the farm! Lovely Family or Romantic Couple farm holiday experience. You have your very own private, beautifully renovated, self-contained Cottage all to yourself but with hosts living on the 12 acre property should you require anything! Gumleaf Cottage is a 100 year old typical Australian farm cottage, situated on the property of Golden West Haflinger Stud where Cathy bred these beautiful golden, blonde ponies which originate from Austria!
Always a variety of farmyard pets to play with and the kids are welcome to join in with animal feeding and care every morning, including collecting the eggs! They will be well entertained with our variety of very friendly farmyard pets including Miniature Goats, Sheep, Chickens, Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, Cats, Parrots, Miniature Ponies and of course our gorgeous golden Haflinger ponies!
Located on the doorstep of the Perth Hills and Swan Valley vineyards and Tourism precinct, less than 5 minutes to local country pubs, fine dining restaurants, wineries, Fruit picking, weekend markets and more! Surrounded by natural bush and farmland, waterfalls with beautiful Australian flora and fauna to explore right on your doorstep. Kangaroos, possums and bandicoots visit the property most nights!

Horse and Pony rides - Whether you are horse experienced or not, it is difficult not to fall in love with these gentle lovable ponies. Riding lessons or led pony rides are available on request on a pay as you use basis.
*Bring your Horse/Pony with you!... Ideal location for country riders as the State Equestrian Centre is only 15 minutes away. Overnight Agistment available by arrangement.
***Please bring casual clothing as you can expect to get dirty exploring the farm and joining in animal feeding. Wellington boots are a good idea for kids, or at least enclosed footwear!
