South Fremantle is a laid back beach side town with a vibrant arts scene and relaxed night life.
Locals and visitors mingle year round and can be seen dining alfresco style, enjoying a daily swim or two, appreciating the latest gallery exhibition or walking to or from Fremantle.
Meander the side streets to take in native gardens and architectural homes nestled beside heritage cottages or pat the plethora of neighourhood dogs and chat while waiting for your flat white.
La Vespa patisserie for your morning coffee 20 metres away. Wild Bakery for your crusty bread, pizza by the slice, pork and fennel sausage rolls, rhubarb and apple tarts etc just across the road. Copper Chimney Indian restaurant for dinner also just across the road.

The Doghouse art gallery is to one side of The Doghouse accommodation where you may browse current exhibitions and perhaps attend an opening night.
