Step inside the front gate of this charming heritage cottage and you enter a hidden sanctuary in the heart of South Fremantle.

It offers the perfect combination of a central location, nestled in the South Terrace café strip, paired with a peacefulness and privacy that belies the vibrancy of the area.

Completely self-contained, the cottage has two queen bedrooms; a main bathroom/laundry with spa bath, washing machine and dryer; ensuite attached to the second bedroom; kitchen; living and dining. The kitchen includes a gas cooktop, full sized fridge/freezer/chilled filtered water/ice machine, dishwasher, coffee machine and microwave.

The house is ideal for one or two couples or individuals. It is not suitable for young children aged 6 and under - please take note as declining bookings that do not meet this requirement may unintentionally offend.

Enjoy a morning coffee and breakfast on the front verandah watching the bustle of life on South Terrace and move to the back patio for an afternoon drink as the sun sets.

Across the street you’ll find coffee, breads and pastries galore at Abhi’s Bakery and Manna Wholefoods or enjoy lunch and a bevvy at The Local hotel.

Parking is available on nearby streets (see signage for approved parking areas) however please be aware that parking is not abundant and will vary greatly due to time of day/week and what`s on in the area. Parking is also available on the property via a rear laneway entrance for smaller vehicles but needs to be organised in advance.. the use of the on-site parking is free but any damage to laneway/property/gate or loss/damage to the remote key will result in costs being recouped.

It’s a short walk to the beach to the west and Fremantle city and the boat harbour to the north. The Fremantle Cat (a free bus service) runs along South Terrace and services Fremantle and South Fremantle, see the Fremantle Cat website for all the details.

Please note, access to the house is via two small steps at the front or three steps at the back, as the house is slightly raised. Please let us know if you have any accessibility concerns and this can be discussed ahead of booking.

House rules:
No more than 4 guests
No kids aged 6 or under
No parties or events
No smoking, use of candles, incense or other burners inside or out.
No pets
All Guests refuse/kitchen waste to be placed in appropriate COLOUR CODED BINS. Please see info in Property Information Booklet supplied or Council Waste Services Guide on fridge.
Please leave the property as you found. If left untidy and dirty there may be an additional cleaning fee charged at $35/hr

AC in Main Bedroom ONLY. Ceiling fans throughout. AC can be run for extended periods during periods of excessive hot days, or as desired, to cool other bedroom and lounge. Pricing of property reflects this current arrangement.
