About This Attraction

For fishing folk there are five rivers of the fishing trail in the Balranald region include the Lachlan, Murrumbidgee, Wakool, Edward and Murray Rivers. Balranald Shire Council assists local fishing clubs restock these rivers with native. The five rivers are within 30 minutes of Balranald Township. Copies of the Five Rivers Fishing Trail brochure are available from the Balranald Visitor Information Centre.
