St Johns Anglican Church and Kings Square are affectionately known by the locals as the true heart of Fremantle. The striking gothic architecture of the 1880s church entices bystanders in to take a closer look. Wander through the magnificent building and look at the stained glass windows that used to feature in the church that previously stood on the site. The church has an enviable location overlooking the picturesque Kings Square. Established in 1833, Kings Square is also home to the Old Town Hall along with its successor, the new Town Hall Centre where you can find the town
