The Bended Elbow is conveniently situated five minutes walking distance from the central part of town and next door to the railway station. This beautiful old building first began operating in 1865 as a general merchant store and has housed many interesting and varied businesses since. It has now been beautifully refurbished into a friendly venue for people to meet and relax for a coffee, drink, to dine or to celebrate that very special occasion in the function room - weddings, engagements, parties and specialising in 21st birthday parties. The private conference room upstairs accommodates 10-14 persons to hold that important business meeting in exclusivity and comfort. Also providing as your company requires. The room is available for single visits from just a few hours through to regular block bookings. The Elbow's function room is a perfect venue to accommodate all functions and especially weddings. The function room can accommodate up to 250 people. There are many tantalizing menus to choose from designed by award winning local chefs. The Elbow's bistro and beer garden accommodate 150 patrons which also includes booths for the quiet meal if preferred. The beer garden/court yard has a Plasma TV behind the bar to accommodate the sporting enthusiast and also has Austar live seven days a week. The Bended Elbow has a separate pool room with two pool tables and booth seating for patrons comfort. Restaurant meals are available from 11.30am till 3.00pm and 5.30pm till 9.30pm Monday till Friday.
